I oversee Neopets’ game product strategy and vision, working closely with various product teams to enhance the player experience, align team goals, and monitor production, engagement, and revenue to keep Neopets a long-term sustainable brand.
Could you share your journey as a player experience professional and what excites you most about your work?
I’ve been in player-facing roles for over a decade, launching my mobile games in 2010, and I love seeing how our updates increase player satisfaction and engagement, often surprising us with feedback or perspectives we hadn’t anticipated.
Are there any professionals you especially admire or from whom you’ve learned a lot?
I’m inspired by Simon Sinek’s leadership style, Andrew Ng’s pioneering work in AI applications, and I admire how Nintendo continuously innovates with household IP, creating fresh experiences for players worldwide.

Player feedback is crucial in shaping our product roadmap, helping us fine-tune features, and staying closely connected to the community and its needs.

Our goal was to centralize player feedback, understand how users receive new features, and make informed, data-driven decisions that improve retention and satisfaction.
